Bridge the Gap 2008

This year's Bridge the Gap Charity Walk will take place on Sunday 14th September 2008 starting from Jesus Green, Cambridge. Already an established event in the Cambridge calendar, this 4 and a half mile walk will take walkers through the city of Cambridge, providing a unique opportunity to explore the college grounds and bridges. In the Mood Charity Ball raises Ł20,000

Last year's Press Ball was held in the dramatic setting of the Duxford Imperial War Museum's American Hanger. Held on 10th November 2007, the event had a glamorous 1940s theme and was attended by Honeysuckle Weeks, star of ITV's Foyles War. Sponsored by Cambridge Building Society, the event brought in Ł20,000 for Press Relief and the Teenage Cancer Trust.
